DVD From The MTC

We received a nice note and a DVD from the MTC this past week. The DVD is a recording of Whitney and a small group singing "My Shepherd Will Supply My Need" at her farewell devotional. They did a very good job and it was so nice to see a moving picture of her. I know she was nervous about the performance but it seemed to go off without a hitch. The note conveyed appreciation for her musical talents. If anyone knows how to make a DVD a file that can then be posted on a blog, please let me know.

She's Off!

Tennyson, Banner and I were able to talk to Whitney for about 40 minutes on Sunday night. She called us from the Salt Lake airport. She sounded excited but nervous. I haven't heard from her since but I assume she arrived as scheduled. Her Dad has already had a dream about her being kidnapped by revolutionaries(are there any in Honduras?). As soon as we hear from her we will let you know.

All the information for writing to Whitney is posted on her blog. We found that Dearelder is not reliable, use it at your own risk. Pouch and email will work the best though I have no idea how often she'll get to access her email or how often the pouch mail is delivered. I know that she loves to hear from each of you. Thanks for your love and support.

New Baby

Cousin Lucy had her baby yesterday, February 22. He weighed 8 pounds and 3 ounces. They are both doing well. No name yet.
