We received a nice note and a DVD from the MTC this past week. The DVD is a recording of Whitney and a small group singing "My Shepherd Will Supply My Need" at her farewell devotional. They did a very good job and it was so nice to see a moving picture of her. I know she was nervous about the performance but it seemed to go off without a hitch. The note conveyed appreciation for her musical talents. If anyone knows how to make a DVD a file that can then be posted on a blog, please let me know.

Sorry I don't know... I've been trying to figure that out myself. I'm glad that she was able to use her talents, and i'm sure she will be using more and more of them as her mission continues!
I would have thought that Morgan would know but if she doesn't I don't know. Maybe Alan or Zack. That is a nice keepsake to have and very nice that they sent it to you.
Jenny,
Alan here. I just found a video on youtube that may help you. Copy and paste in address bar

Or do search for "How to Rip A DVD into any video format" and the young "geek" explains about "HandBrake", a free downloadable program which converts DVD file to a format which can be more usable.
Sorry but last web address in post was wrong! This is correct:

Titled: "How to Rip A DVD into any video format"
That is my favorite song that is not a hymn. I can't wait to see it. We are still undecided if we will come for Easter. We really would like to, but just found out that Hannah and her two friends from the ward are singing in church Easter Sunday. I wish they would have told us earlier.
