The day included the "ceremonial" opening of gifts, wearing the gifts to school, blowing candles out on the requested confetti cake and a sleep over with friend Kylie. Today she had a lunch date with Aunt Lizzy and Tennyson and then a movie date to see Avatar with her Dad.

Where have the past 14 years gone. I remember when she was born and I was visiting her in the NICU. She looks like she had a good birthday.
That's right. I remember when you were pregnant with her and stranded up in your bedroom. You were trying to finish the little smock dress for Tennyson so that if you died she would have something to remember you by. I'm so glad that you didn't die and that you got to raise your girls. How fun to have your youngest be fourteen. They all grow up so fast. It's strangely unbalancing to realize that they are getting older. None of the kids are supposed to get older unless I'm around to watch it happen.
