Happy New Year

My days are very quiet now that the holidays are over. The girls are back in school and Jim is at work and I just ramble around this house doing my housework. At least I have the cats for company. We got another email from Whitney on Wednesday, I know some of you got it because I forwarded it to you. For those of you that didn't get it, she is doing very well. She sounds like a new and improved Whit already, she even wrote a short testimony in Spanish. Luckily I have an English-Spanish dictionary so I was able to look up the words that were unfamiliar to me. She's very busy and studying hard, which is good.

We're preparing for Banner's 12th birthday on tuesday. She will go into Young Women's the following sunday. I think she is excited. I look at my girls now and wonder where the time went, it seems like yesterday they were little pre-schoolers.
I don't feel old but I must be getting there to have grown-up daughters.

We can't wait for that new baby to get here.
Happy New Year to everyone!

The Schauerhamers

Sounds like everybody is back on schedule. We were at Josh and Stacy's last night and Stacy was having contractions I thought it was THE night but turns out it wasn't. we'll let you know and look forward to seeing you all when she comes. I'm so proud of Banner and i'm sure she is very excited to go into young women's she will be one of the cutest, funniest little Beehives in the ward.

Rebecca, John & Gabe

It doesn't seem possible that Banner is 12! Wasn't it just last year when John took the girls and Gabe and went down to CD for her baptism? I guess not! I agree with you though -- only the kids are getting older. We are in a holding pattern (except for the gray hair I keep finding).
Take care.
