I hope Whitney gets to go see these ruins. I don't think they are very far from where she is now.

I just read Whit's last letter. It sounds like she is getting the hang of things. She was so discouraged those first couple of letters. I hope she continues in her growth, both as a missionary and in finding out who she really is. This is definitely one of those "character building" experiences.
Just read Whitney's email. thanks for sending them to us. She sounds like she's adjusting and will start to have a wonderful experience in the mission. I loved the pictures of her in her apartment in the "much too big" skirt. Que flaca is all I can say. Hope that continues, but it would be nice to have something else to chew on besides those beans and rice. Do bananas grow there? Rice and bananas sounds good. Cool pictures of the ruins, I guess you googled them. I hope she keeps sending lots of neat pictures. so far I love them all.
