Cedar City & Flash Flood!

Sundown at Cedar Breaks.

It was a beautiful evening.

Jim and Banner enjoying the "heated pool" at Econolodge.

Tennyson enjoying "Breaking Dawn" at Econolodge.

Jim impatiently waiting for "Shrew" to start.
Three of the silliest girls.
I call this "watching the Greenshow".
Delicious strawberry tart.

The excitement is mounting.
Rubbing Falstaff's belly for good luck. We didn't have a statue of Buddha.
Pictures by the fountain. They love Shakespeare.
Banner and the fountain.

There was a flash flood at the ranch on Thursday. This is what it looked like when we got home on Saturday.

Banner playing in the mud.

Luckily the Lodges were not in the flood zone.

Great pictures of your time in Cedar. I'm glad that you got to meet Brook. Is there a silent "e" at the end of his name? Just wondering. I didn't know rubbing the belly of Falstaff brought you good luck. Maybe you should have rubbed harder considering what you found when you got back to the ranch. Was there much damage? Will you recover quickly? It seems like Jim has a lot on his plate right now. So sorry.

His name is Brooks. He was named after his Grandpa Brooks.

Did you know there was a flash flood before you got home? Wow, it looks like it had to have come pretty fast. Alan wants to know how many inches of precip came down. So, how was the ceremonial meeting of the son-in-law to be? It looks like everyone behaved themselves and there were no blood-letting. Good for you. :) However, I'm sure Tenny brought some much needed levity to the proceedings. Brooks and Miranda look happy.

How is Tennyson holding up without Breaking Dawn? The poor girl...
It looks like the ranch is ruined..just ruined! They are never going to recover from something like that....

You know that fountain that Banner was standing by, when I was little I actually got in that fountain on a dare from Anne Adele. I played in it for about 5 min. Nobody said anything. Maybe I will reinact that next year.
